Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Department works to provide information on county adopted codes, performs field inspections and enforces municipal code provisions, such as business license and operation permits. We enforce land use laws pertaining to the public welfare, safety, public nuisance, property maintenance, and structure design. We can also recommend corrective actions to bring about compliance, determine time frames for compliance achievement, as well as issue notices of violations/ citations.
